Terms of Service

By using this site you accept these terms. They are written to be read, not to hide behind.

What this site is

Midnight Gentlemen is an independent directory of adult entertainment businesses in Japan, written in English for international visitors. We publish information about shops so you can find and contact them yourself.

What this site is not

  • We are not an agency or intermediary. We do not employ, represent or dispatch anyone. Every listed business is independent.
  • We do not take bookings or payments. You contract directly with the shop; any agreement, service, price or dispute is between you and them.
  • We do not arrange or broker any service. We publish publicly available business information.

Age and eligibility

You must be 18 or over to use this site. It concerns adult entertainment businesses and is not intended for minors. It is your responsibility to comply with the laws that apply to you.

Accuracy and no warranty

We verify listings before publishing and record when we last checked each one — our method is set out in our editorial policy. Even so, prices, hours, staff and even whether a shop is still trading change constantly and without notice.

Information is provided "as is" with no warranty of accuracy or fitness for any purpose. Always confirm details directly with the shop before you rely on them. Your decision to contact or visit any business is yours alone, and we accept no liability for your dealings with them.

For shop owners

Most listings are researched and published by us from publicly available information — a shop's own website, its public social accounts and established industry directories. We do not publish private information, and we do not reproduce shops' copyrighted photography without permission.

If your business appears here, you can at any time:

  • Request a correction — tell us what is wrong and we will fix it.
  • Claim the listing to add photos and full details.
  • Request removal — we will take the listing down on request from the business. No explanation required, no charge.

Contact us through the shop contact form. Requests from verifiable business contacts are handled promptly.

Paid listings

Shops may pay for an enhanced listing. Payment affects the amount of detail and placement in featured slots only. It does not buy a favourable write-up, and we do not remove or downgrade a shop for declining to pay.

Acceptable use

Do not scrape the site at scale, republish our listings or guides as your own, misrepresent yourself as us, or use the site to harass any listed business or its staff.

Intellectual property

Our written guides, listing descriptions and site design belong to us. Shop names, logos and materials belong to those businesses. Screenshots of shop websites are used to identify the business being listed and are replaced with official material when a shop provides it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Japan. The site operates from Japan and lists businesses in Japan.
