Shinjuku & Ni-chome

Shinjuku holds fifteen of the twenty shops we verify in Tokyo, and more than a third of every shop in this directory. Nothing else in Japan is close. Practically, that means Shinjuku is the one district where a plan B is always a few minutes away rather than a train ride.

It is also the only district in the country with real depth in all three formats at once: five urisen houses, seven outcall services and three massage studios, side by side. Elsewhere you pick a district and take whatever format it happens to have. Here you pick the format.

The density is a language advantage too. Nine of the fifteen show English support, including two of the three shops in Japan that run a genuinely built-out English site — Masotera for massage and An Independence for outcall. Both are in Shinjuku, and both let you settle a price before you make contact, which is rare anywhere else in the city.
