Shinjuku Dojo

The Shinjuku shop has no English form of its own — only a Japanese web form, phone line and LINE account.

1. The group English page asks international guests to email the reservation address with name, date, start time, course, companion preference, and room or outcall. It also states phone inquiries are taken in Japanese only.
2. Submitting the Japanese form is explicitly not a confirmed booking; the shop's reply confirms it. If none arrives within 24 hours, the site asks you to call.
3. First-time callers have their number verified on the call, and withheld numbers are declined. One nationwide line routes to each shop by extension.

Getting there

Private-room meeting points are disclosed after booking: several residential buildings and a partner hotel near Shinjuku-Gyoemmae. The viewing office is three minutes' walk from that station, fourth floor at 1-30-4 Shinjuku, entered by intercom. A home visit needs a bathroom at the address; beyond a ten-minute walk from the station, a taxi is arranged or you meet there. For a hotel visit you give the hotel name, room number and check-in name, and the shop calls the room under a personal name.

Payment and ID

The Shinjuku FAQ states major credit cards are accepted with a 10% handling fee; the group English page states Visa and Mastercard only, and asks you to flag card payment at booking so a payment link can be sent in advance. The terms state the service is for guests aged 18 or over, is not available to women, and that no companion under 18 is employed.

Good to know before you go

• Walk-in viewing: you can see waiting companions through a one-way mirror at the office and leave without booking, free of charge.
• Photography, video and audio recording are prohibited (stated penalty ¥100,000), as is exchanging personal contact details with a companion (¥300,000).
• If the shop's rooms are full, a business hotel room three minutes away is substituted at no extra cost.
• The shop publishes further conduct rules on its official site; read them before you book.

• Whether English is spoken in person by reception or companions.
• Any reply-time commitment for the English email route; the 24-hour guidance covers the Japanese channels.
• Which card and transport terms apply in practice; the Shinjuku pages and the English page differ.
• The current number of companions here; a daily roster is published, but no total.
