Book by phone, the Japanese web form, or LINE, which the site says moves faster than email; a phone line and a LINE link are shown on the official site. The form asks for first-visit status, date and time, preferred cast, course, location, name, mobile number, email and payment method — email is required even via LINE. The shop then replies to confirm.

Ten minutes before your slot, call from Exit A1; arriving late shortens the session rather than moving the end time. At the hotel, give the front desk the room number you are told. You cannot request a particular hotel or room. Twelve partner love hotels are listed, all in Kabukicho 2-chome, two to four minutes from the exit.

Payment and ID

Cash or credit card. Card payments are taken online at booking through a payment processor, which holds your details; the site states the shop name does not appear on your statement. The processing fee is charged to the guest. Guests who cannot prove they are 18 or over are refused, and the shop states no cast are under 18 or of high-school age.

Good to know before you go

• Recording or photographing the session is prohibited.
• The shop may refuse future bookings after what it considers a malicious cancellation.
• Guests who are heavily intoxicated, using drugs, or who appear to have a communicable illness are refused.
• Do not seek a cast member's personal details or arrange contact outside the shop.
• The shop publishes further conduct rules on its official site; read them before you book.
