10 of our 20 Tokyo listings — and they are not spread evenly across the city.
Tokyo is where an English booking is least of an obstacle, and also where it is most concentrated. The listings that take English bunch up in Shinjuku — Ni-chome and the blocks around it — with a thinner scattering east in Ueno and west toward Shibuya. If you are staying anywhere near Shinjuku, that means a first choice and a fallback are a walk apart rather than a train ride. If you are not, it means the opposite.
The formats are not spread evenly either. The urisen houses that book in English sit in the Ni-chome and Ueno clusters, where the drink at the front of the evening is part of the format. The massage studios with English sites sit further out, which is why the quiet end of this list is also the geographically scattered end. The outcall services have no district in the sense that matters — they are based at an office and travel across the city to your hotel.
Some Tokyo-specific things to plan around. Several studios here are appointment-only and say so plainly, no walk-ins: that is a kindness rather than an obstacle, because it makes the English form the actual door. Most of the list starts in the afternoon, though a couple of studios open in the morning, so an evening-before message that names your date, your time and your course is the version that gets a clean reply instead of a question.
Starting prices across these listings run ¥1,700 to ¥15,000. Where the bottom of that range looks improbably low, it is a urisen bar's entry set — a drink-first price rather than a session — so read the From price column alongside the Type column rather than on its own.
